چکیده

In China, the wild population of Nanjing Linden (Tilia miqueliana M.) is experiencing a drastic decline, primarily due to high levels empty seeds. This study aimed measure biochemical and physiological changes during fruit seed development in T. determine developmental mechanism. The weight method photosynthetic respiration were used biological aspects both fruits embryos, while transmission electron microscopy anthrone colorimetric endosperm content, including sugar, starch, protein, fat. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays conducted endogenous plant hormones such as indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), gibberellic 3 (GA3), zeatin riboside (ZR), abscisic (ABA). nonlinear least-squares was fit model nutrient hormone levels, revealing that size expanded from 5th 65th day moisture content exhibited downward trend, along with decrease intensity. Embryos found be fully developed between 35 DAF 65 DAF, nutrients endosperm, i.e., fat, continuously accumulated after 50 DAF. Additionally, ABA, IAA, GA3, ZR contents synergistically regulate maturation.

Do linden trees kill bees? Reviewing the causes of bee deaths on silver linden (Tilia tomentosa).

For decades, linden trees (basswoods or lime trees), and particularly silver linden (Tilia tomentosa), have been linked to mass bee deaths. This phenomenon is often attributed to the purported occurrence of the carbohydrate mannose, which is toxic to bees, in Tilia nectar. In this review, however, we conclude that from existing literature there is no experimental evidence for toxicity to bees i...

Biochemical Aspects of Protein Changes in Seed Physiology and Germination

Seed storage proteins are synthesized as sources of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur for the next generation of plants. Reactive oxygen species serve as second messengers for signal transduction; however, molecular targets of oxidant signaling have not been defined. Here, many researchers showes that ligand–receptor mediated signaling promotes reactive oxygen species– dependent protein carbonylation...

Biochemical mechanism on GABA accumulation during fruit development in tomato.

A large amount of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) was found to accumulate in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) fruits before the breaker stage. Shortly thereafter, GABA was rapidly catabolized after the breaker stage. We screened the GABA-rich tomato cultivar 'DG03-9' which did not show rapid GABA catabolism after the breaker stage. Although GABA hyperaccumulation and rapid catabolism in fruits is w...

flavonols and flavones changes in pomegranate (punica granatum l.) fruit peel during fruit development

four chinese pomegranate (punica granatum l.) cultivars were analyzed for their individual flavonols and flavones (in fruit peel extracts) using high performance liquid chromatography (hplc), with changes in flavonols and flavones as occurring during fruit development. the results revealed the presence of kaempferol, quercetin, myricetin, luteolin, and apigenin in all the four cultivars. in add...
